Mr. Vladimir Lukin

Mr. Vladimir Lukin is a President of the Russian Paralympic Committee, Human Rights Commissioner of Russia. He was born 13.07.1937 in Omsk, Russia. Married. Has two sons, a grandson and a granddaughter.

In 1959 Mr. Lukin graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute, Dr. of History, Professor. He speaks fluently English, French and Spanish.
He has 20 years experience of scientific work in the Moscow Institute of USA and Canada. He is an author of many scientific articles and books. From 1968 till 1989 he headed the department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Mr. Lukin was the first Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the USA. In 1993 Vladimir Lukin received an honorable title “The Best Diplomat of the Year”.
From 1993 till 2000 he was the Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs in the State Duma (Russian Parliament). During that period Duma with the active participation of Mr. Lukin ratified more than 130 important international agreements. From 2000 – 2003 he was a Vice-Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

From 2003 and till nowadays Vladimir Lukin is a Human Rights Commissioner of Russia. He was one of the founders and leaders of “Yabloko” (one of the powerful parties in Russia), has a high authority among the leaders of government and different political parties in Russia, influences state and public organizations in the country.

Vladimir Lukin was and is always fighting for freedom, dignity, civil rights; he is definitely opposes to lawlessness of bureaucracy. Honesty, adherence to the principles, professionalism won high respect in Russia and abroad.
He is at the Head of the Paralympic movement of Russia since 1996 (is the first president of Russian Paralympic Committee).
Sport is an essential part of the life of Mr. Lukin. His favorite sports are soccer and hockey.

Being the first President of the Russian Paralympic Committee he managed to solve one of the key tasks to achieve equality of sportsmen with and without disabilities. On his initiative grants and money prizes for the athletes with disability were set up. He managed: to raise to a much higher level the prestige of the Russian Paralympic Committee; to promote the development of mass sport for persons with disabilities in the regions of the country; to contribute to the stable and guaranteed financial support for sport of the persons with disabilities and their preparation for the Paralympic Games from the state budget, sponsors and other sources.

Under the leadership of Mr. Lukin there is a stable tendency of the increase of qualitative and quantitative indicators of the Russian Paralympic Committee.
The main qualities of Mr. Lukin are extreme sense of responsibility, justice and love for people.


 
 

 

Mr. Pavel Rozhkov

Pavel Rozhkov – Chairman of the Executive Committee, 1st Vice-President of the Russian Paralympic Committee
Was born June 30,1957 in the city of Zhukovsky. A graduate of the Order of Lenin State Central Institute of Physical Education (1979, cum laude). Professor in the department of theory and methods of combat and martial arts.
Mr.Rozhkov is Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Doctor of Economics, Corresponding Member of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Honorary Doctor of the Russian International Academy of Tourism. Master of Sports in Greco-Roman wrestling.

Honoured Coach of Russia in Greco-Roman wrestling. From 1979 to 1982 he worked in an integrated USSR research team, as research assistant for VNIIFK. From 1982 to 1992 he worked in the State Committee of the USSR. Also from 1987 up to 1992 served as Deputy Chief of the physical education of population.
From 1992 to 1996 , head coach of Russian national team in Greco-Roman wrestling. Honoured coach of Russia. For many years he taught at the Russian State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports. From 1997 to 1999 acted as general director of travel company "Olympus Tour", which is the agent of the Russian Olympic Committee, responsible for organizing transportation of sports delegations to the Olympic Games, World and European Championships and other international competitions. He is also Honorary Doctor of the Russian International Academy of Tourism.
On November 25, 1999 he was as first Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism.
From 2000 to 2002 served as Chairman of the Russian Federation State Committee for Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism.
On July 13, 2001 becomes the actual State Councilor of the Russian Federation of First Class.
From 2002 to 2004 served as first deputy Chairman of Russian State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports.
In 2004 completed his doctorate of St. Petersburg University of Economics and Finance. He has published over seventy articles, books, monographs, including on a normative legal and financial support of the social sphere.
From 2004 to 2009 was acting Vice-Rector of Podolsk Sports University.Î

In 2005 he was elected as chairman of the Workers' Union of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism of the Russian Federation. From 2004 , head of working groups of the Russian Paralympic Committee for the preparation of Russian national teams in the summer Paralympic Games in ; Athens (2004), Beijing (2008), London (2012), and Paralympic Winter Games in Turin (2006), Vancouver (2010) and Sochi (2014). In 2006 and in 2010 he was elected as Chairman of the Board, the first vice-president of the Russian Paralympic Committee.

From 2009 head of the Russian Paralympic Committee. The mission chief of the Russian national teams at the Paralympic Summer Games in ; Athens (2004) and Beijing (2008), and Paralympic Winter Games in Turin (2006) and Vancouver (2010). Mr. Rozhkov received various state awards and medals, among them ; "Excellence in Physical Education and Sport" medal , "For merits in development of physical culture and sports." and “ Order of Friendship” awards. òìåíèòü èçìåíåíèÿ
 

 

 

Mr. Oleg Smolin

Mr. Smolin was born in February 10, 1952 in the village Poludino in the North-Kazakhstan region. In 1968 he had diagnosis as the first group of blidness. In 1970 he graduated from boarding school ¹ 95 with a gold medal (now number 14).
Higher education. He graduated from the Omsk State Pedagogical Institute in 1974. S Diploma Specialty - a teacher of history and social science. Ph.D., Associate Professor.
Mr. Smolin is the deputy State Duma,he is professionally engaged in the problems of education. He is the author and co-author of almost all laws passed during the last decade in the educational sphere. He works in the State Duma of Federal Assembly as the First Deputy of the Committee on Education and Science.
Mr. Smolin is a member of the Central Board of the All-Russian Society for the Blind, Honorary Board Member of All-Russian Society of Disabled Persons, vice president of the Russian Paralympic Committee. He has been working qith the Paralympic national team of Russia since 1993.
Mr. Smolin is a member of:
the Academy of Human Sciences (Academician).
the International Pedagogical Academy (Academician).
the Academy of Pedagogical and Social Sciences (Academician).

He is married. He has a son. In his spare time he enjoys listening to classical music, reading history and classic literature. He plays profesionnaly a gutar.

 
BORIS IVANYUZHENKOV
 

Was born on February 25, 1966 in Reutovo, Balashikha, Moscow Region. In 1985, he graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Physical Culture. While serving in the Army, he worked as a coach in the 13th Army Club. From 1986 to 1993, he worked as a physical education instructor at children's sports school in Podolsk. Since 1993, Boris Ivanyuzhenkov is the First Vice-President of the Russian Wrestling Federation, a member of the Russian Olympic Committee.

In 1996 he established a sports club "Vityaz" in the city of Podolsk. In 1997 he was elected to the Moscow Regional Duma. Boris Ivanyuzhenkov conducted the work of the committee on Science, Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs.
In June 24, 1999 by the Presidential decree he was appointed as the Minister of the Russian Federation for Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism.
Following the government resignation in August 1999,Mr. Ivanyuzhenkov was appointed as Acting Minister for Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism.
August 19, 1999 by presidential decree he was appointed as Minister of the Russian Federation for Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism.


In May 2000 he was appointed as chairman of the Russian State Committee for Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism at the Ministry and held this post until June 2000.

Boris Ivanyuzhenkov acts as Rector of Podolsk Sports University, Ph.D., honored president of the Central Sports Club "Vityaz" in Podolsk, and the State Duma Deputy.

He is also Master of sports, multiple medalist and winner of international and Russian competitions in Greco-Roman wrestling. He was awarded the medals; "For merits before Fatherland" II degree, and the "Golden familiar FILA -" International Association of Wrestling.


 

Lidia Abramova

She was born in May 30, 1950 in the village. Chertkovo, Rostov region.
In 1973 she graduated from the Taganrog Radio Engineering Institute, as radio engenner. In 1994 she completed course on "Effective Management" in British Open University.
1973 - 1987 - engineer, designer of the Irkutsk radio factory nemed by 50 th anniversary of the USSR (dismissed on second group disability).
1988 - 1989 - studied at the Faculty of the organizers of the Industrial Training Institute for executives and specialists of All-Russian Society for the Blind.
1989 - 1991 - Instructor, Acting Deputy of the Chairman of the Irkutsk regional government of All-Russian Society of Disabled People.
1991 - 1998 - Head of the Social Protection Committee of Committee Labor and Social Protection of of Irkutsk Administration.
From 1998 - Vice-President of the All-Russian Society for the Blind.
Lidia Abramove is a Member of All-Russian Society for the Blind since 1968.
1990 - 1992 - Deputy of the Irkutsk City Council, Chairman of the Commission on social security of citizens.
She is awarded the state award - the Acknowledgement of the President of the Russian Federation.
She was awarded with the Diploma of the International Olympic Committee,with Medal of the 80th anniversary of the State Sport Committee of Russia.
Social activities:
- President of the Sport Federation for visually impared athletes;
- President Para -delphy Committee of Russia;
- A board member of the All-Russian Society of Medical, Social Examination and Rehabilitation of Russia.


 

 

Mr. Mikhail Terentiev
 

Mikhail Terentyev  - NPC Russia Secretary General.
Mikhail was born May 14, 1970 in Krasnoyarsk.
Since 1984 he was engaged in Nordic combined. In 1986, during the competition in the city of Kirov Mikhail was seriously injured - his thoracic spine was broken.
After almost 10 years of treatment, he returned to his favorite action. In 1993 he began to train actily and competed at cross country skiing and athletics events for people with disabilities.
In 1993 he graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Krasnoyarsk State University.
Mikhail was a member of the Russian National Team at the Paralympics in Lillehammer (Norway, 1994), Nagano (Japan, 1998), Sydney (Australia, 2000), Salt Lake City (USA, 2002), Athens (Greece, 2004) and Turin (Italy, 2006).
Paralympic champion, winner of 4 silver and 2 bronze Paralympic medals, world champion, the silver medalist of the World Cup, a silver and two-times bronze medal winner of World Cup ski racing, winner of 3 bronze medals at European track and field Championships.

Honored Master of Sports of Russia (2000).
During 2005-2007. Mikhail worked as a Paralympic sports trainer in the Center for Sports Training for Russian national teams.
Secretary General of the Russian Paralympic Committee (elected in 2006, 2010.).
In 2006-2007. - Ambassador of the Russian Paralympic athletes as part of the Bid Committee "Sochi 2014".
Member of the presentation of the application "Sochi 2014" at 119th Session of the International Olympic Committee in Guatemala (July 4, 2007).
In 2009 he graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (specialty: "International Relations").
2007 - 2011, the deputy of the State Duma of the V convocation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. Member of the International Committee of the State Duma of the V convocation.
Since December 21, 2011 - Member of the State Duma of the VI convocation. Deputy Chairman of State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs.
State awards: the Order of Friendship (1999), "Order of Merit" of the fourth degree (2007).

Hobbies: sports, computer and cognitive literature.

 

 

Rimma Batalova

Rimma Batalova was born on January 1,1964. She is a multiple champion of Russia and the USSR, forty three times European champion, eighteen times world champion, thirteen times Paralympic champion, multiple world record holder, all together she spent thirty years in sport. She was awarded numerous medals and awards such as
the Order "For Personal Courage" (1992), "Honor" (1996), "For Merit" of grade four (2002), "Friendship" (2006), "For Services to the Republic of Belarus" (2000), "Salavat Yulaev "(2004), an honorary badge" Outstanding Athlete of Belarus "(1994), winner of the Olympic committee," Fair Play” prize in 1995.

Rima Batalova is Honorary Citizen of Ufa and of Saransk region in Bashkortostan, board member of Russian Federation Presidential Committee o for Physical Culture and Sports, Vice President of the Paralympic Committee, the founder of a "Regional Branch of the Academy of Sports Rights in Bashkortostan." The State Duma deputy.
 

 

Sergey Evseev

Sergey Evseev was born on April 7, 1950 in Voronezh. He is the Director of St. Petersburg Research Institute of Physical Education, Dean of the "Adaptive Physical Education" faculty, the head of the "Theory and Techniques of Adaptive Physical Education" of St. Petersburg State University of Physical Culture, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor. Sergey Evseev is also Honored Employee of the School of Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the chief editor of "Adaptive Physical Education" journal.
In 1971 he graduated from St. Petersburg Universaty of Physical Culture. From 1981 to 1998 acted as it’s Vice-Rector . Sergey Evseev is one of authors' of the “Concept of Public Policy of the Russian Federation in the Field of Rehabilitation and Social Adaptation for Persons with Disabilities by Means of Physical Culture and Sports”. He also initiated and has become one of the main developers of the “State Educational Standards of Higher and Secondary Vocational Education” in it’s new branch “ Physical Education for People with Disabilities”.

 

Lev Seleznev

Was born on September 27,1937 in the Moscow region.
In 1961 he graduated from the Moscow Regional Pedagogical University, as coach,teacher of physical education, anatomy and physiology.
Lev Selezneve is Master of Sports of the USSR and Honored Coach of the Russian Federation.
Since 1992, he is closely involved in all activities of the Russian National Paralympic Team. He is the President of the Sports Federation for Persons with Physical Disabilities.
Lev Seleznev is also recipient of the” Order of Friendship” award and two medals “For the Development of Virgin Lands" and "For the Courage During Fire”
He is married, has two sons and a granddaughter. During his free time he enjoys historical and classical literature and naturalistic paintings and author’s songs concerts. Lev Seleznev also a professional guitar player.


 

 

Andrey Strokin

Andrey Strokin was born on May 9, 1977 in the Perm region.
Graduated from Bashkir State Pedagogical University, Faculty of Physical Education, as specialty teacher. Modern Humanities Institute (Moscow), Bachelor of Law.
He is Honored Master of Sports, five-time champion of the Paralympic Games, Champion of the World, Europe and Russia in swimming among the visually impaired
Andrey Strokin started in sports in Ufa, besides swimming, he was also participated in wrestling, football, hockey. Member of the Russian National Team since 1998.
Andrey Strokin received an award as Honorary Outstanding Athlete of the Bashkortostan Republic in 1999. Also he was awarded the Order of "Friendship" in 2000 and in 2001, , "For merits before Republic of Bashkortostan" in 2004, "Honor" in 2005 " ,Salavat Yulaev "in 2008, Medal of the Order" For Merits to the Fatherland of II degree "in 2009.
He is married and has two daughters.
 
Anatoly Tzarik

Born on August 6, 1939 in Gomel region.He graduated in 1961 from Gomel Pedagogical Universit and in 1982 from the Academy of Social Sciences. Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Russian Federation. Anatoly Tzarik is Master of Sports of the USSR and Honored coach of the Belarus Republic. In 1986 he became one of Paralympic movement founder in Russia. Anatoly Tzarik has Ph.D. in Philosophy. He is the winner of All-Union Society “knowledge contest. He is member of the Expert Working Group of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation on the development of physical culture and sports.
He is married. She has one daughter and three grandchildren. He speaks fluent German. At his free time, Anatoly Tzarik likes to listen folk songs, reading philosophy and law literature and gardening at his summer house.
